Beastly by Alex Flinn

A modern rendering of Beauty and the Beast, Beastly teaches the age old lesson of seeing the beauty in others. Flinn manages to put this fairy tale into a modern New York high school setting with interesting characters and twists to an old tale. Told from the point of view of the 'beast,' Beastly is good for a wide audience. I just suggest skipping the internet chat sessions. They are a little hokey.
