Explore book reviews using the “All Reviews” list on the right side of this page. I’ve divided these books by age group and theme, but the individual books aren’t in any particular order. Actually, in most cases they are listed in the order I read them. I will always put my most recently read books at the top. That way, if you are checking the site often, you can find new entries at the top.
Children’s Books
On this site, children’s books are those written primarily for kids ages 4-11, but age distinctions may vary. I categorize these books as easy readers, easy chapter books, and chapter books. These categories divide the books by intended reading audience and reading level. Keep in mind, these are good books to read out loud to preschoolers, even if the kids can’t read on their own.
Young Adult Books
Young Adult books are generally for ages 12-18. However, interest and maturity level varies a great deal in this age range. If I feel books are more appropriate for older readers, I will mention it. I base these recommendations on more mature themes, language or more graphic violence. If there is content in a book that I feel is inappropriate for young readers, I won’t review the book.
