The Extraordinary Adventures of Ordinary Boy, Book 1: The Hero Revealed, by William Boniface

If your reader loves superheroes, but you hate the violence of graphic novels, Ordinary Boy is the hero for you.  This one held the attention of my 2, 4, and 8 year olds.
